Travel back through a thousand years of western Colorado history at the Museum of the West. Native American exhibits feature one of a kind prehistoric pottery from the Colorado Plateau, striking rock art panels from the Fremont and Ute peoples and numerous other Native American artifacts. The Western Investigations Team building has strange and unique artifacts from their archaeology excavations. Famous firearms from the Thrailkill collection include pistols from Kid Curry and Buffalo Bill.
