Maintained and protected by the National Park System, this 20,000 acre are features steep sloping red rock canyons that sprawl over a beautiful landscape. Located near the city, it borders the eastern edge of the Colorado Plateau Stretching over 32 square miles, the outdoor attraction is an impressive natural display comprised of towering monoliths, sheer-walled canyons, colorful rock formations and is home to wildlife like soaring eagles and desert bighorn sheep.
